PURPOSES 

As an Incorporated body within Victoria Australia we have a Statement of Purpose as part of our Incorporated Rules.

GOA Statement of Purposes
a) To assist and visit any person who is about to undergo or has undergone an Ostomy operation.

b) To gain knowledge and provide information, advice and encouragement concerning stoma appliances and other aspects of stoma care.

c) To purchase and distribute approved appliances and pharmaceuticals to members according to the rules laid down by the Department of Community Service and of Health.

d) To purchase and sell to members on a non profit basis other stoma supplies.

e) To co-operate with other organisations dedicated, in whole or in part, to the same objectives.

f) To raise, obtain or receive funds or other aid to help achieve the above objectives.
